Any place that puts ricotta on pizza and/or has ricotta on site is a place to go to. Have you put ricotta on your pizza before? you havent? well you might as well give up on life now. The BBQ chicken's sweet bbq sauce pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the ricotta and that blending of flavor leads to overeating, which also leads to death. But one of the most pleasant deaths in the history of mankind. (im a history minor so... i would know.) Their pepperonis are huge and taste like friendship... i myself have never actually tasted friendship but i assume this is what it would taste like. The read sauce is smooth and the tomatoes are just ripe enough to provide the right amount of sweet to acid of the tomato. THE VERDICT: Idaho falls you have the pizza place. you need not going anywhere else. just go here. if you are going somewhere else you should probably get an MRI. I may have just saved your life. The pizza is delicious and reasonably priced, and food in IF has been saved by this place.

Kicking back watching the presidential debate at the LQ Inn and Suites. Yelped Lucy's and liked the reviews. Walked across the parking lot and the order was ready in 23 minutes. We had the medium Margarita pizza, Fried Mozzarella, and cheesy bread. First and foremost, the Margarita pizza was the best I have ever had. Freshly sliced tomatoes and basil over the red sauce. The cheesy bread had the perfect blend of bread, garlic butter and cheese. The Fried Mozz, which we thought were going to be pre-fab mozzarella sticks, was actually a 1/2 inch slice cut off of a fresh block of cheese and fried. This could have easily fed a family of four for less than $25. Absolutely the best. Move to Vegas so I can eat your Za weekly.

This pizza is really tasty if you can endure the hour and sometimes thirty minute wait. Not a good choice for hungry kiddos. Our server was excellent and did her best to cover up the mistakes from the pizza chefs. The two individuals preparing the pizza were unprofessional and obnoxiously loud. After they burned our kid's pizzas luckily our server came through with not having to pay for the kids pizza replacements that finally arrived at 1 hour and 45 min later. I'm gonna recommend takeout only and give yourself plenty of lead time.

The family salad and 15" pizza fed a family of three easily. There were several good beers on tap too. The slices were cut the right way, so you could fold them properly. This will be my go to place for pizza.

My husband had the meatball sub, very bland, served lukewarm...borderline cold, 15 minutes before our calzone and pizzas arrived. I had a calzone that was amazing. I ordered white sauce, chicken, green olives and sausage. Their pizza is pretty good. My fave pizza is the Zestbian , and they make yummy cheese sticks too! Stick with the pizza and calzones and you won't be disappointed.

I'm going to say this is the best pizza in town, but that's only because everyone else in town really wouldn't know pizza if they saw it. This is New York pizza. It's cooked right, it has good ingredients, and great crust. It's a good slice. I enjoy it much.

People in IF are the weirdest Yelp raters. For one thing I can't believe this place only has 6 reviews. For another, I can't believe my favorite pizza place in the WORLD got 3.5 stars. What a joke. This place is DELICIOUS. We usually get half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. I'm talking real slices of pineapple. The sauce? Mmmm so good. The crust? Delicious. Nom nom nom. The service is great. When they are busy they recognize it and apologize. Seriously I'm pregnant right now and ALL I WANT TO EAT is LUCYS! It is on the pricier end of the spectrum, so be prepared for that. They have 1.50 slice tuesdays. Their slices are big. It's the only thin crust pizza I've had in idaho that I enjoy. I think it's weird that all of the reviews say it's good but then give it 3 stars. 3 is "I may go back" 2 is "I probably won't" and 1 is "never ever". Get with it peeps! Amazing pizza, just go. Mmmm

I've been to this particular location a handful of times, each time I go the service is great and the pizza is even better. As far as pizza goes in Idaho falls, you really don't have very many options. This place is really good, I've tried a variety of their pizzas and I've never been disappointed. The pizza are very large and flavorful, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try the next time you are craving some New York style pizza.

Excellent pizza! We also had the antipasto salad which was very good. We were looking for a good pizza and we found it right next door to our hotel. Not only was the food terrific, but the service was just what we have become accustomed to in Idaho --- very friendly and attentive. This was a perfect evening with good food and good people. Thanks Lucy's!

I have ordered delivery from Lucy's a few times before but never dined in until a few days ago. We stopped in around noon and were seated at a table somewhere near the back of the restaurant. It bothered me that there were no booths to sit at because I prefer the privacy. After a few minutes of looking over a menu that wasn't terribly easy to navigate, we ordered our Meaty pizza. I also had a half Caprese salad to go with it because I was hungry and wanted something to eat as quickly as possible. The Caprese took longer to arrive than expected, around 10 minutes or so after ordering. The Caprese tasted okay once I removed half of the basil leaves. I understand Caprese gets some of its flavor from the basil leaves, but leaving all of them on top overwhelmed the dish. Otherwise, the mozzarella and tomatoes tasted fresh. I would order it again if I was hungry enough, but wouldn't come back just for it. The pizza took around 25-30 minutes to arrive which seemed unusually long, especially because I could see the cook from my table and he didn't look incredibly busy. I've ordered pizzas from this same place that have arrived in half the time it took. Still, the pizza did eventually arrive and it tasted above average. Messy and delicious make the best pizzas if you ask me, and this was no different. After finishing my half, I was content and overall satisfied with the food quality. We also ordered a few canoles as we had never had them before. They were very small, but tasted okay. Did not expect them to be as crunchy as they were. The decor in the place feels dated, especially after I know this location has only been open for a few years. I didn't like that I could see the cooks from my table (along with the waiters that seemed to like chatting more than working), and it seemed like the place has a bit of an identity crisis. Do they want to be a sports bar or a pizzeria? I don't know. Still, I'd bet I'll come back to this place, I just won't be rushing to. The food was fine, and the best part about this place (which is most important) but the wait time was unacceptable and the atmosphere didn't seem all that welcoming. Maybe I'll just order delivery next time.

NEW GLUTEN FREE CRUST!!!! It is a huge improvement from their original. They have created their own and it is very nice. Great flavor!!!! I soooo miss the Bronx crusts. Keep up the great work Lucy's!

I have eaten here three different times. The service is about average. The food is a little better than average. I had the pepperoni sub. It was pretty good. The pizza there is fairly decent. Would go back again.

They should have put the pizza on a stand to keep it from getting soggy. The first slice was so good and the crust was crispy. The second slice was a bit soggy which is why this place gets only a 3 star rating. The sweet chili wings were so good as well as the Cannoli. I would go back just to eat those 2 things. If there was a separate rating for service this place would get 5 stars. Justin was our server and he did a great job. Chatted with us, helped keep our two kids entertained and knew just when to excuse himself to go check on his other tables. Where we were sitting we could see the two guys making the pizza and tossing the dough. They too kept our kids entertained with the dough tossing. I will go back and eat the pizza again, I will just make sure to tell our server to put the pizza on a stand to keep from getting soggy. And if it's better the second time, I will come back and change the rating and write an update. Keep up the good work Justin, you are an excellent server.

Very cold night and I walked over to Lucy's from my hotel. Very friendly and seated fast. The place smelled good. I started with the antipasti salad. For 6 bucks you get four slices of ham, four pepperoni and four salami, shredded romaine lettuce, two grape tomatoes, a few pieces of artichoke, sliced black olives, and shredded cheese.I got my choice of two salad dressings, I just stuck with Italian. I wanted salad, would not order it again. I got the veggie pizza. Tasty but I think they forgot the sauce. They handle special orders very nicely. I got the cannoli for dessert. Good crisp shell and tasty filling. When they offered me huckleberry cannoli I stopped her. I am a NY Italian...don't go there with me. Over all nice service. Would get the pizza again but ask for triple sauce.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
